Angus Ferguson: Skiffy

For his exhibition SKIFFY, Angus Ferguson assembles drawings, paintings and other media to suggest a sprawling epic narrative drawing from sources ranging from European folklore to 1970's science fiction films and print media.
Born in 1973 in Vancouver, Angus Ferguson received his BFA from Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design in 2002. His work has appeared in group exhibitions at Charles H. Scott Galley, Belkin Satellite Gallery, Bodgers and Kludgers Co-operative Art Parlour and more. Solo shows include Blanket Gallery, and Douglas Udell Gallery in Vancouver. In 2007 he was shortlisted for the RBC Painting Competition. Angus lives and works in Vancouver.
